AMIS RESTAURANT - Old Finds When in Quiapo, Manila

December 18, 2010 - 2:15 P.M.

Okay, I jst got home from Quiapo with my mom and aunt. Gosh, define a LOT of people? You have to move like a penguin and sometimes even if you don't move, you'll move unwillingly (wtf? haha). Upon arriving  at the entrannce to the Nazarene's shrine at the back, I was like WOW, okay there's a line. Luckyly the weather was cloudy and the sun isn't  like a spotlight! so it wasn't irritating to falll in line. It has been a custom for me and my mom to go to Quiapo chruch to pray and give thanks every after term of my school. I always have that strange uplifting, calming, relaxing mood whenever I do this. I thank God for guiding and inspiring me always.

After doing the "ritual", we then went on to Amis Restaurant to eat lunch. I was kind of hesitant at first since I haven't eaten then for like 10 years or more and I am always used to eating at fast-food chains and fancy restaurants. However, I went on and agreed since I wanted to know how the food is after all these years.  To my surprisse, the placce is still as is, though it isn't as fanccy and class as most of the restaurants I have dinned in already iit still hasn't lost iits touch. The food was delicious, simple in taste but reallly satisfying. The place still has a high priority for cleanliness; from the table yousit down, employees, food service, and to leaving the place.

It was nostalgic for me to come back there since during my childhood, my mom and dad would alyways bring me there after attending mass at Quiapo. It was a good feeling really. Anyone who's been down the streets of Quiapo knows this place and it has been there for years. My grandmother's ate there when they were still kids and even their paraents I think?

I'm still sleepy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! O_O

Later will be the results of my grades for this term. I hope I did well enough to attain a scholarship again.  :) (crossfingers!)

ALMOST SUNRISE Experience at SM MOA

3:51 A.M.

Hmmm, it's freakin' morning already! and I just arrived at home with two of my friends. The cab's are really picky on their passengers, very irritating. We even had to call their attention in the middle of  the road. They even defeat the purpose of having a meter on them and instead they say what price are we ready to pay! Oh well, we need to get home after all! hmp! This is also my first blog, I don't know what came over me but I wanted to have an account here and just express what I am thinking as of now. I though of doing this at the cab, hehehe.. wierd...

So basically, here's an overview of what happened today...

5:00 P.M. - arrived at school, waiting for my friends to finish their verification on Comm4 and DataComm. This was supposedly scheduled at 3:30 P.M. It hasn't even started yet! gosh.

6:00 P.M. - the verification started at last! As I looked around, many were nervous awaiting aside.

6:30 P.M. - the long awaited verification of my friends was finished! yey!

7:15 P.M. - the celebrant and the rest of us were on the go already, it's MOA time and we're hungry.

7:30 P.M. - waiting for a cab! gosh all of them are really picky and snobbish! irritating much.

8:30 P.M. - arrived at MOA, searched for restaurants, and eventually picked "Gerry's Grill" as venue! excited to eat! haha

9:30 P.M. - let the eating session begin! yummy foods :)

10:30 P.M. - we're full, thanks bday celebrant. We then decided to go to the bowling center! It's bowling time.

10:45 P.M. - arrived at the bowling center. Wow! our cisco friends, professors, and many more were there.

11:30 P.M. - let the games begin, with only 30 minutes left before closing time (I think?)

12:30 A.M. - finished! yey. The traditional giving of message to the b-day celebrant was started. The staff aare staring at us on why were not still on our feet. Haha, well then they have to wait for us :)

12:50 A.M. - were on the go to our houses!! we're sleepy.

1:00 A.M. - please cab, please cab, where are you!!!!!???? they're really picky! and that shouldn't be. pissed off a little.

1:50 A.M. - Went to "Starbucks" to have a coffee and unwind on the stressful search of the cab's we have gone through. Although on the way a cute guy offered us to with them on a picture, but we went on with our way. awwhh. Another cute guy approaches at our table and asked to borrow a chair and approached us before we left and thanked us :)

3:00 A.M. - okay we're ready to sleep on the streets (joke!). We finally got a cab! yey for us! but a lot of people are stranded. I hope they could also go home.

3:30 A.M. - arrive at home, we're sleepy.

..ZZZZZZ...

.....oh well I'm really sleepy, hahaha I guess I'll make another blog, I think I'll be much more on my senses and  do something better than this :P
